De jonge Bredase illustrator Tosca van der Weerden (@toscanabanana) maakt ‘Eyecandy Met Inhoud’. Haar doel: in de eerste plaats een groot publiek aantrekken met in het oog springende, vrolijke illustraties om vervolgens met (vaak lastig te bespreken) informatie over de brug te komen. Haar krachtige en kleurrijke karakters en activistische leuzen maken impact.
Tosca studeerde aan de kunstacademie St.Joost en woont nu alweer zo’n 8 jaar in Breda, in een voormalig snoepwinkeltje met haar teckel die Toetje heet.
OOMPH! x Playgrounds is an intimate show & tell where emerging artists get the chance to present their work. They will give you a peek behind the scenes and show you what it takes to create an animated film or what goes into illustrated work. The audience will be encouraged to ask all kinds of questions. How much coffee do you drink? What did you take to come up with this idea? Do you still live with your mother? Everything is possible!
