Come join us for an evening filled with exciting interviews all about games! OOMPH! x Playgrounds is an intimate show & tell where emerging artists get the chance to present their work. They will give you a peek behind the scenes and show you what it takes to create an animated film or what goes into illustrated work. The audience will be encouraged to ask all kinds of questions. How much coffee do you drink? What did you take to come up with this idea? Do you still live with your mother? Everything is possible!

Line Up
Iris van der Meule is a digital artist based in the Netherlands. With a background in animation she started developing interac- tive virtual reality (VR) experiences. As VR is a new storytelling medium, Iris is eager to research how we can use this medium creatively. With her fascination for socially relevant topics Iris creates poetic VR experiences that evoke emotion and raise awareness for the topics she addresses. Iris is a true VR pioneer when it comes to using VR as an art form and sees the potential of the medium for creatives like her to bring storytelling and art to a new level.
Job van der Wielen is a teacher, illustrator and game designer. He has been creating all his life, learning the craft of drawing from his father. Job likes to experiment with new ways to bring his worlds to life.
He has a passion for creating immersive worlds where viewers can lose themselves, especially within the context of tabletop role-playing games. Job’s imaginative and detailed style suits the captivating experiences he evokes perfectly.
Thomas Schuller is a unity developer who likes to create innovative and technical experiences. His go-to software is Unity but he also developed games with Photoshop, Blender and Unreal Engine. During Oomph! Tom will dive into the process of creating the game that he’s currently developing.

– Eenmaal ingebracht kun je het tijdens de middag niet intrekken.
– Bedenk wel dat je soms niet 1 op 1 terugkrijgt wat je ingebracht hebt.
– Als er meerdere gegadigden zijn voor 1 kledingstuk verloten we dat.
A Clothing Swap Party is a fantastic way to revitalize your wardrobe…all without spending money! This afternoon in Het Hijgend Hert the autumn/winter edition of the Swap Party.
– Bring at least 3 pieces of garment. Accessories like shoes, belts, bags etc are also fine. Items should be clean and free of stains or tears. No used underwear or lingerie.
– Once you bring in the garment you can not withdraw during the party.
– When more people like a piece we raffle.
Hou je van vrolijke Latin muziek om lekker op te dansen? Of wil je gezellig komen luisteren? Kom dan zondag 2 maart naar Latin Carnaval in het Hijgend Hert in Breda 
. Dj Marian draait vrolijke feestelijke salsa, bachata, merengue, soca enz.. voor álle liefhebbers van een Latin Carribean Fiesta. Entree: gratis. Welkom!
